The Product Manager for Americas' Electrical in Glendale, WI contributes to CMM by increasing sales and profitability levels for Americas' Electrical product lines.  This responsibility is done by managing marketing activities, product line composition, positioning and financial performance, as well as taking a lead in coordinating cross-functional activities to achieve growth of the product line.
Key responsibilities of this individual are:
* Develop and execute growth plans for assigned product categories. 
* Determine market needs, identify strengths and weaknesses within our portfolio and develop strategic initiatives that result in improved competitive position.
* Provide expertise on customer requirements, market trends and competitive strengths and weaknesses.
* Manage pricing, promotion and profitability for assigned product categories.
* Manage product line development, expansion, improvement and phase out issues including market analysis, product rationalization and development of product specification and cost reduction.
* Provide product expertise through internal and external training and development of sales tools for the sales organization.  Active visitation of end-user job sites will be required to determine new product opportunities, needed improvements or phase out situations.
* Lead and coordinate all phases of the development process for the assigned product categories including internal justification and new item system set-up.
Required Skills
Qualified individuals will possess the following attributes:
* Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four year college or university and three (3) years related experience and/or training; MBA preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams.  Must be able to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
* Familiarity with the tools and technical skills needed in the electrical field.
* Ability to work in a matrix organization.
* Ability to display knowledge of product lifecycles and product development capabilities.
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
* Ability to read, analyze, interpret and create financial reports.
* Ability to prepare and present material both verbally and through written means.
* Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and PC skills, specifically using Microsoft Office Applications.  Thorough knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop products and deliver technical design/development projects within project required deadlines and cost targets.Component and assembly design from concept to production.
* Carry out design calculations to satisfy all aspects of design integrity in compliance with company design procedures and external design codes.
* Produce design drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings utilizing 3D CAD.
* Develop external partners for engineering design to provide team with back up and support
* Management of prototype testing process, including creation of test procedures, test schedules, results and report writing.
* Ensure new products are designed and optimized for international manufacture.
* Monitor and progress projects to ensure sound application of engineering principles are used and design intent is being followed&#160; / achieved.
* Prepare for manufacturing readiness including preparation of BOMs, part numbering structures, product manuals etc. to ensure smooth handover of products into production.
* Compile the necessary technical documentation to fulfill contractual requirements and quality procedures.
* Liaise &amp; provide support to marketing, proposals &amp; sales, service, manufacturing &amp; purchasing functions.
* Assist in other internal engineering teams with best practice solutions
* Customer application evaluation
* Close liaison with proposals and sales teams to ensure specifications &amp; customer requirements are fully met.&#160;
Required Skills
Required Capabilities:
* Degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar position within an industrial design environment.
* Hydraulic design experience
* Experience designing industrial bolting (torque) tools
* Proven track record in New Product designs
* Experience or high exposure to industrial products in international markets is strongly preferred
* Familiarity with hydraulic tool designs is preferred.
* Proficient in using ProEngineer computer aided design.
* Working knowledge of Autocad is preferred.
* Working knowledge of PTC Windchill is preferred but not essential

Required Background and Capabilities:

The IT Intern for Actuant Corporation in Butler, WI will provide phone support in a Help Desk environment. It is a full-time opportunity during the summer. It is also an opportunity to expand classroom knowledge and grow in the IT discipline. Key responsibilities that this person will assist with are:
* Provide phone support to the business users (approximately 80% of the time).
* Provide desk side support when necessary, including tracing cabling for network and voice.
* Provide support for telecommunications tools including but not limited to: desk phones, IP phones, Cell Phones, Blackberrys, and Soft Phones.

ENS (Elliott-Nielsen- Sanlo), our growing business unit in Binghamton, NY is adding a Supply Chain Manager to their team.  The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the operational efficiency of all aspects of Supply Chain Management activities supporting multiple lines of business.  The Supply Chain Manager will work with all relevant ENS personnel to ensure we have deployed and are sustaining tactics in support of the company's overall strategy and goals.  He/She will manage and oversee all supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials.  This position makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations; and coordinates/resolves issues regarding existing and new products.  Consistent interaction with customers will ensure that all delivery and quality issues are being met in a satisfactory manner.   
 
 
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities:
. Responsible for the management of material costs.  This includes identifying and managing effective cost reduction/cost containment (in inflationary periods) programs.  Specifically the SCM will create and manage and drive the execution and reporting of the "funnel" of material cost savings.  In the situations where inflation is evident the SCM will escalate the potential risk to the ENS management so that appropriate actions (including sell price increase) can be launched expeditiously.
. Responsible for supporting the evaluation of make buy activities and providing leadership in the development of "strategic" programs (families versus part numbers) as well as the execution of cost extraction in the instances of an outsourcing decision - working in conjunction with the appropriate functional leaders that are affected.
. Drives the design and implementation of an effective material flow system within the ENS manufacturing facilities.  This includes the establishment of point of use material storage, visually controlled replenishment systems (Kan Ban).
. Responsible for the control over all material within the ENS facilities as well as in the possession of outside service providers.  This includes managing the automated material control system, cycle counting and annual physical inventory (working with manufacturing and finance).  A specific deliver is to drive inventory accuracy using cycle counting to the point where the annual physical inventory is no longer necessary.
. Responsible for the effective management of inventory levels which are at the lowest possible levelt o sufficient to support the ENS business goals.  This includes prevention of future and disposition of current SLOB.   Supports the SKU analysis and on-going SKU adds/deletes to support business strategies and prevent SLOB inventory
. Responsible for controlling and improving the freight costs associated with managing the ENS business.  This includes evaluation of freight policies and effective negotiation with freight service providers.  The SCM will be responsible for identifying the optimal method of transportation of incoming and outgoing material to balance customer satisfaction and ENS profitability goals.
. The SCM (in conjunction with the Quality manager) is responsible for designing, developing and implementing a supply chain management process.  This process will include an evaluation system to drive effective evaluation of supplier performance (e.g. OTD, Quality, Total Cost, Lead-time etc.).  In addition the process will create mechanisms for managing the performance of the ENS supplier base which includes replacement of poor suppliers.  Also included in this process will be activities related to driving improvements in the suppliers operation to drive better performance for the ENS organization (partnering with the CI Leader).
. Responsible for the development of the personnel with the SCM's organization.  This includes active continuous feedback with the express purpose of continuously improving the skill level of the employee directly related to the employees current and future responsibilities.
. Travels to customer accounts to develop specifications and to conduct Voice of the Customer surveys.
. Provide product training via web conference, conference calls, personal presentations, etc. to sales team, engineering team, leadership team and customers.
. Collaborates with the Manager of ENS quality to address product quality issues.
. Establish and maintain finished goods inventory levels to ensure customer satisfaction and to support product line strategies, this includes the establishment and management of "Customer Stocking Programs".
Required Experience

The Senior Financial Analyst &#8211; Hyperion Administrator for Actuant Corporation in Butler, WI will provide accurate and timely financial information from a global consolidation perspective. This information is used to monitor business unit results, and provide Actuant stakeholders with financial data via public and management reporting. The individual is a liaison between corporate and the individual business units of Actuant, especially as it relates to utilization of our consolidation system, Hyperion Enterprise. * Assist in the compilation and analysis of data for forecasting and planning. Assure data is uploaded into Hyperion properly by the business units, and prepare consolidated forecasted results.
* Drive process improvements to make the Company&#8217;s workflow, as it relates to corporate processes, more efficient and effective.
* Assist the Manager of Financial Planning &amp; Analysis with the supervision and development of the Financial Analyst.
* Provide Hyperion support for acquisition integration activities, as needed.

The Customer Service Representative is the frontline person that represents our organizations philosophy of customer satisfaction, as such they must be the conduit for 'Voice of the Customer'. Key responsibilities of this individual are:
* Provides proactive and extraordinary service to customers. This includes maintaining a professional relationship with customers, identifying key accounts, retaining current customers and promoting growth in sales.
* Provides support to other Customer Service Representatives realizing overall sales growth as a company is the ultimate goal.
* Professionally handles all incoming calls from their customer, as well as overflow calls. This includes returning customer's calls and expediting requests in a timely manner.
* Responsible for entering customer orders placed via phone, fax, mail, email or online on a daily basis. This includes monitoring account receivable activity (informing customers when an order will be placed on credit hold due to past due invoices), checking inventory levels, verifying/updating customer information, and confirming all fax orders. Order processing also includes notifying customers of backorders and processing them on a daily basis.
* Handles and resolves customer problems. Root causes of problems are identified and corrective action taken. Problems are closed with calls to customers to ensure satisfaction.
* Works closely with Purchasing and Production regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.
* Has a general knowledge of the product line and is familiar with key items. This includes having the ability to answer customer questions and crossing competitive product.
Required Skills

This Key Account Manager for Hydratight will cover a territory within the North Texas area, maintaining existing accounts, while being responsible for developing new business. &#160;The majority of our business is client/relationship driven; the primary focus will be on outages, turnarounds, major projects and emergency maintenance work.&#160; The KAM will be responsible for specific focus into the Power Generation industry for gas, fossil and nuclear plants in the territory, as well as fabrication yards, drilling and pipeline industries.&#160;&#160; The position requires someone with a strong motivation and desire to succeed, follow-up, and relationship building skill set. The market is a vast untapped territory and has great potential for Hydratight products and services in the Oil &amp; Gas, Power Generation, Heavy Industry, Construction, Pipeline and other industries. Key responsibilities of this individual are:
Establish contact with existing clients to maintain and build future relationships within the territory assigned. Candidate must have strong territorial management skills, along with establishing new clients through cold calling, research and networking within the assigned territory.
* Must be a 'hands-on' salesperson when needed, and be able to conduct presentations to upper level personnel when required.
* Must be technically competent to understand applications as well as problem solver for customer's issues. The candidate must posses the skills to assess the customers needs and 'solution sell'. Must have the ability to probe, question, and gather specific information about the customer, his needs, and track the information for short and long term projects.
* Candidate must be an experienced, self-starter that understands territory management, time management and has strong customer service skills and is self-motivated.
* Candidate will be expected to travel within the assigned territory. Travel will be via car or air, depending on time, budget and customer constraints. It is estimated that overnight travel will encompass up to 35% of their time.
* Liaise with internal sales support and operations staff on equipment requirements, quotations, orders, or follow up to insure customer's needs are met.
* Work closely with management to insure company goals and objectives are being met within the territory. In addition, relay competitive information and new market or product requirements to grow the Hydratight line and maintain reputation as a leader in our field.
Required Skills
Qualified individuals will possess the following attributes:
* Requires 4-year degree and/or 6 to 10 years industrial sales experience in the Oil &amp; Gas, Petrochemical/Refining, Power Generation or Contractor industries.
* Positive, 'can-do' attitude and team builder.&#160; Must be willing to work with others and prioritize for the good of the organization and it's members.
* Must be computer literate and have experience working with Microsoft programs and sales CRM/database programs.
* Must be a self-starter, motivated, and familiar with tooling applications within the industries listed.
* Must be experienced in forecasting, budgeting, and developing a territory with little supervision. Candidate will be held accountable for the financial results of the assigned territory.
