Job Description
Raven Software is looking for a Senior Designer for our latest unannounced action title, primarily focusing on combat systems and encounter design. Designers will work with the rest of the team to create and implement combat systems, AI behaviors, and scripted events in the game world. Specifics
Driving overall cinematic and presentation quality falls into three general categories.
Cinematic and Presentation Oversight:
-     Review design docs, scripts, story boards, and builds of games with an eye towards presentation. Provide verbal and written assessments of same.
-     Develop a method for and track the status of cinematics/presentation for all projects
-     Develop cinematic/presentation milestones to integrate into existing greenlight process and review deliverables with this in mind.
-     Be an active part of Central Design reviews.
Cinematic and Presentation Assistance:
-     Work with teams early on to establish cinematic and presentation needs, stay in touch throughout project to ensure that cinematics/presentation is progressing appropriately.
-     Work with others in ATVI to identify the best talent match for each team&#39;s individual cinematic/presentation needs.
-     When needed, acts as liaison between vendors and teams to ensure smooth and effective communication.
-     Actively guide teams through issues with regard to vendors, licensors, and other outside agencies.
-     Assist in prepping teams to work with talent for VO or mocap sessions.
-     Assist or provide feedback to other ATVI teams with regard to cinematics/presentation related business issues
Cinematics and Presentation Leadership

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

WORK EXPERIENCE:Experience in a managerial global supply chain role demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills and a track record of success working in a team-based environment. Job Summary
The NT Systems Engineer works with the system staff involved in the design, development and implementation of NT systems projects. Basic Function:
The Manager, Revenue Recognition, Accounting Policies and Reporting is a critical role within our Financial Reporting team as well as the worldwide Finance Team. Job Title:QA Tester (Temporary Full-time until March-25-2011)

Basic Function:
Responsible for testing PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC games, reporting and verifying game anomalies, providing detailed bug reports to the QA Lead, troubleshooting, and effectively communicating defects, design issues to the production team and assisting the QA Lead in managing tasks for QA Testers.
Duties and Responsibilities:  
-     Create and execute a test plan; create and update documentation to track testing progress
-     Log, regress stability issues and follow up with fixes
-     Promptly raise serious bugs with the relevant team member
-     Test games for ease of use, reliability, consistency, and absence of product defects
-     Providing ongoing feedback on gameplay, game difficulty, and tuning
-     Provide clear and detailed written reports of tests to game team
-     Log bugs in the defect tracking software
-     Assist in setting up and maintaining the build process
-     Makes recommendations on improving the development process
-     Critically evaluates the game play and technical requirements based on testing scripts and game performance
-     Able to manage small teams; team oriented individual who can mentor new hires and cultivate a good working relationship
-     Assisting the QA Lead in giving direction on testing tasks and priorities to the testing team
-     Responsible and takes ownership of deliverables
Principal Working Relationships:
Work with managers, programmers, artists, game designers, the internal QA team and external QA team and Producers.
Educational Requirements: 
-     Related diploma or equivalent level of work experience required
Special Knowledge, Skills:
-     Well organized, responsible and detail oriented with vast interest in video gaming and gaming industry
-     Leadership skills; committed, reliable, positive, team oriented and can mentor others
-     High familiarity with game titles on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC
-     Familiarity with current gen consoles
-     Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
     
Prior Experience/Previous Positions related to current position: 
-     Minimum 2 years experience as a QA tester for a variety of game genres
-     Previous experience in game testing and quality assurance
-     Previously in a leadership role
-     Online gameplay experience a plus
-     TRC/TCR/Lot Check/Games for Windows and guideline knowledge a plus
-     Experience with compatibility and PC specific requirements a plus
-     Localization experience a plus

Basic Function:
The Latin America (LAM) Sales Manager position is responsible for the tactical management and development of all Activision&#39;s Mainline, Blizzard, AMP, and RO product sales for assigned LAM distributors and retailers. Achievement of volume targets within assigned spending budgets is a core accountability of the position, which will be achieved through customer business planning, flawless execution of sales controllable &quot;building blocks,&quot; and leading the development of the overall relationship with assigned customers at multiple levels in the division. 

Duties and Responsibilities:  
* MANAGEMENT OF SALES FUNDAMENTALS- Oversee existing relationships with customers to ensure Activision-Blizzard products are represented in line with Activision brand strategies.
* FORECASTING- Manage corporate and customer item forecasts
* CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT- Develop and maintain partnerships with customers to exploit new release and catalog revenue opportunities
* MERCHANDISING AND CONSUMER MARKETING- design and execute targeted programming that builds mass consumer awareness and drives purchase intent at key LAM retailers
* DISTRIBUTION- Maximize product lifecycle revenue / profitability at assigned customers from pre-sell, to launch, and beyond. Maximize launch revenue through product evangelism and consultative selling using benchmark title data. Establish long lead planning with assigned customers to maximize upstream planning and execution
* MERCHANDISING AND COSNUMER MARKETING- Plan and execute account specific merchandising and marketing programs designed to build mass awareness, maximize in-store presence, drive trial and purchase intent at key retailers. Leverage product evangelism, consultative selling, and customer expertise to garner customer alignment to plans. Manage all customer activities within budget. Lead financial analysis of program effectiveness.
* PRICING- Communicate pricing issues and opportunities to corporate to maximize product replenishment.
* FORECASTING- Communicate product launch and ongoing inventory needs with corporate. Align customer to product forecast expectations. Maximize product launch and quarterly forecast accuracy.
* SALES EXECUTION- Prepare and deliver multi-faceted, best in class sales meeting presentations that contain industry, regional and account insights as well as cutting edge product information.  Maintain a leadership role on all customer related transaction issues including order processing and logistics, marketing fund accrual deductions, and customer service. Compile, monitor and report sell-through in the region and share findings with key stakeholders. Use sell-through data for future bench marking sell-in purposes.
* CORPORATE COMMUNICATION- Prepare monthly reports to management as well as status report as they are required. 
SPECIAL PROJECTS- Create and maintain an overarching LAM sell-through reporting system that feeds in to AB corporate. Create a trade promotion spending tracking device that monitors spending on a quarterly basis. Maximize Activision&#39;s in-store presence by testing a 3rdparty merchandising firm. Help assess a direct distribution system in the region versus distribution.

Basic Function:
The Customer Marketing Manager will have the ability to see the big picture and lead all internal/external teams in execution of the vision. 
Position Responsibilities:  
¨    Drive the development of strategies and programs to market our titles to consumers at the account specific channel.
¨    Serve as the &quot;one stop shop&quot; liaison between Account, Sales and GBM teams. 
¨    Develop and manage the allocated trade spending budget by title by quarter while providing strategic account specific leadership internal and external, project guidance and support to ACM.
Position Duties: Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
¨    Strategic planning and execution of retail programs and account specific marketing events
o    Provide input during development of corp go to market strategies and planning framework
o    Align GBM and account objectives to create account specific marketing plans for pre-sell, Launch and momentum phases for all ATVI titles
o    Promotional effectiveness: evaluation of all account specific trade promotions and programs
o    Manage account specific merchandise planner for all titles
o    Ensure information in system is current and updated (addesso, merch planners, trade plans)
o    Assist sales teams in developing sales presentations and tools for all promotional events
¨    Trade Budget management and forecasting
o    Manage profit- sensitive account marketing budgets and lead qtrly trade forecast reporting for all ATVI titles
o    Work with ACM to analyze financial and account impact of promos or programs and provide recommendations for future planning
o    Align Sales teams with budget spends to ensure budgets are on track- track HIP grid goals
o    Manage account specific trade budget: weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly

¨    Sales material / Industry event preparations
o    Coordinate GBM inputs for customer interactions and product evangelism
o    Oversee ACM in providing sales support materials on time
o    Work with internal and external teams to develop account specific playbook for all key title releases
¨    Communication internal and external
o    Provide day to day customer input to aide GBM decisions including product mix, pricing, exclusives and packaging
o    Align GBM and sales teams to gain agreement to brand retail objectives during all phases of the product life cycle
o    Ensure necessary internal approvals on artwork and other account marketing assets
o    Work with sales team to &quot;plan&quot; key brand objectives and maximize merchandising impact at retail
o    Lead and Discuss financial impact of CM programs, including % spend of net revenue and ROI on promotional activity
¨    Direct sales experience with major chain retailers is strongly preferred
¨    BS/BA required/ MBA Preferred
¨    Experience managing sales targets and trade spending budgets with national retailers  
¨    Candidate must poses a minimum of 5 years experience in Customer/Trade Marketing and/or Field Sales
¨    Strong understanding of the retail landscape with extensive experience working with major retailers
