Overview
Active Media Services, Inc., the world's largest corporate trading company with locations in 11 countries, is looking for a
Vice President, Director, Direct Response to work with the SVP, Director of Media Operations to be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of DR Department. 

Responsibilities

* Provide overall leadership and direction to the Direct Response (DRTV) department to deliver profitable growth and attainment of key financial metrics (e.g., Departmental EBITDA, Gross Profit and Spread). 
* Analyze, on an ongoing basis, the DR business to determine appropriate strategy, structure and resource needs. 
* Guide the development and implementation of new media planning and buying strategies to ensure future success. 
* Ensure client satisfaction by thoroughly understanding clients' critical requirements and working within DR and across the Active organization to consistently meet or exceed those requirements 
* Promote Active International within the media community to increase trading and billing activity, recruit media specialists, and educate others on the benefits of Corporate Trade, as well as our position within the industry.
* 
Support Active's Sales Department, Susan Harris and Account Management in presenting our media capabilities to prospective clients, evaluating media plans, and communicating our media activity for our existing client base.
* 
Supervise, train, coach and develop employees with the DR organization.

Qualifications

Experience/Education:
* 10+ years of Direct Response TV experience in a media agency, including media buying and planning experience and leadership of a stand-alone department/group
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* MBA degree a plus
Travel:
* 
10-15% domestic travel required

Overview
Active International, the world's largest corporate trading company, is looking for an experienced professional to work in our Sales Department as a CRM Analyst.

Responsibilities
Serves as a central point of contact for the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system of responsibility. Assists in the CRM system implementation, performs functional testing and end user training. Maintains CRM data, prepares user documentation and is the CRM first line of support for end users. Works with VP, Sales Operations, to ensure that consistent practices are used throughout the company to maintain the integrity of the system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Support
* Supports end users for the Peoplesoft CRM application. Point of contact for end user questions.
* Provides customer service and support to ensure complete resolution to each incident.
* Builds a resolution database using a ticket management system.
* Assists in departmental analysis of the business needs and makes recommendations on how the system can be used to maximize our users&rsquo; objectives.
* Support International user community on need basis
* Training
* Develop custom training programs for specific job function within departments
* Orchestrates and facilitates training to all new hires/existing employees in Sales and related departments.
* Identifies and makes recommendations for current and future training needs.
* Enhances and updates user training documentation as needed.
* Identify level of user competency on regular basis and address these needs by delivering reinforcement training to groups or individuals
* System Maintenance
* Reports all security requests to the IT department to ensure that user access is in line with job functions.
* Act as data steward for functional needs. This includes performing data cleansing routines and resolve data mapping issues
* Update and maintain sales team assignments within a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
* Liaison between Users and IT
* Works directly with IT to resolve technical issues.
* Upgrades and Roll outs
* Develop software test scripts, perform system testing , document results
* Works with User Community and IT to ensure seamless rollout of new features.
* Run Ad-Hoc projects
* Independently delivers custom reports using CRM toolset to support custom data requests
* Manage delivery of analysis for specific research projects

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience                         
Bachelor's degree 
Minimum of three to five years related experience.
Computer Skills                        
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an understanding of relational databases. 
Must be proficient in Word.
Must demonstrate advanced knowledge and high level proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot tables). 
Previous knowledge of Peoplesoft CRM application, a plus. 

Knowledge of any CRM software is essential.
Previous software training experience, preferred.

Responsibilities
Assists in maintaining media schedules along side Media Market specialist from inception to completion by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Ordering schedules for buyer when approved by client. This will include requesting letter of liability or credit requests as needed. 
* Generate control sheet for each buy. This will include confirming receipt of orders, collecting contracts from stations and/or station representatives and checking contracts against orders for accuracy. 
* Checking trade codes submitted by buyer, and entering trade lines into the stewardship system. 
* Confirm accuracy of client priced schedules (x10&rsquo;s)
* Enter make goods and preemptions into the stewardship system once buyer approves them.  
* Call station to confirm receipt of traffic and instructions. 
* Call station representative for pre and post logs as needed. 
* Reconcile Invoice Matching Reports with direction from buyer and troubleshoot discrepancies. 
* Ad hoc projects.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) 
One to two years related media experience and/or training a plus
Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
