Skills:
Experience with DOORS or equivalent requirements management software required. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining systems requirements management procedures and databases.

Performs physical and/or chemical testing/processes. Operates a variety of laboratory equipment and apparatus. Prepares equipment, materials or samples for analysis. Prepares technical documentation of testing methods and procedures. Maintains technical notebooks and associated laboratory records. May assist in development of tests, processes and procedures. May perform mathematical calculations as required. May input and evaluate computer data. Familiar or recurring work is assigned in general terms. Detailed instructions are given for new lines of work or special assignments.
Skills:
This position will primarily consist of performing wet chemistry titrations (acid/Base and redox), physical testing (density, specific gravity etc.), moisture analysis by Karl Fisher, experience with UV spectrometer and FT-IR is desirable. All analysis will be performed under the supervision of senior laboratory personnel.
Education:
Prefer at least an AA in a science with a minimum of 2 semesters of chemistry.

Conducts the more specialized tests in accordance with authorized test request
Maintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results
Utilizes lab equipment effectively and efficiently
Designs and builds needed fixtures
Maintains and calibrates lab equipment in accordance with established procedures
Frequent contact with others outside the work group
Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards
