The Radiation Therapy Oncology Group is seeking a Contract Specialist to develop, negotiate, and monitor industry-supported clinical trials services agreements. This position requires experience in all areas of contract processing, including liaising with industry partners, project management and budget development. MBA & 4+ year's related experience required. Communication and MS Office skills are essential.
As a member of the RTOG team you will:
. Maintain ongoing schedules of contractual task obligations and assure that they are met according to the terms of the agreement.
. Track accrual or timelines and assure that invoicing is done and receivables are collected in a timely manner.
. Interact with the scientific leaders of the clinical trials, including Principal Investigators, Statistical investigators, industry partners and report to Executive staff on the development of contractual agreements and obligations.
. Analyze all industry-supported clinical trials contracts within short time constraints and display sharp negotiation skills to resolve differences in contractual terms.
. External interface includes pharmaceutical and device firms, contract research organizations (CROs), clinical laboratories providing services to ACR, Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), clinical sites, and other clinical trial-related vendors.

Senior Biostatistician - Cancer Clinical Trials
The American College of Radiology (www.ACR.org) seeks a PhD Biostatistician to play a major role in the conduct of cancer clinical trials involving radiation therapy. The ACR serves as headquarters for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (www.RTOG.org). The RTOG is a National Cancer Institute-sponsored cooperative group that has conducted clinical trials for more than 40 years, enrolling and treating over 75,000 patients and publishing over 700 clinical reports and related scientific articles.
This position will support the efforts of the symptom management research team, focusing on patient-reported outcomes and other measures of treatment side-effects and costs/benefits. Thus, particular areas of need in statistical methodology are longitudinal data analysis, missing data methods, health related quality of life assessment and psychosocial measures, as well as general methods for all phases of clinical trials.
A doctorate in Biostatistics or Statistics and 4+ years of related experience is required. Individuals with a minimum of two years experience in a multi-center clinical trial setting with supervisory experience are strongly preferred. Knowledge of SAS and/or strong computing skills in other modern statistical software is required. Familiarity with MS Office products and excellent written/oral communication skills are required for this interdisciplinary position. The position involves some travel to professional meetings in cancer and statistics, and provides opportunities for career development with respect to publishing collaborative and independent methodological work. A secondary adjunct appointment at a prestigious local university is possible for suitably qualified candidates.

Research Associate- Clinical Trials

The ACR's clinical research division in Philadelphia has been the leading research organization in radiology and radiation oncology for more than 30 years providing administrative, data management, information technology, image archival, image interpretation and quantification, and statistical support for over 500 research studies.
ACR Image Metrix is the result of a heritage rich in the perfection of image acquisition, management and analysis, and established relationships with federal regulators to help navigate a drug, device, or imaging instrument through all phases of the clinical trial process.
As a member of the ACR Image Metrix team you will:
. Manages a caseload of assigned protocols for review according to group priorities and timelines
. Reviews electronic and paper format medical data (forms and reports) with regard to compliance, omissions and inconsistencies
. Requests correction of incomplete data or clarification of discrepancies through electronic queries
. Reviews and critiques developing protocols. Corrects deficiencies or refers items to be corrected to appropriate personnel
. Creates a file for study set up which includes: creation of eligibility checklist, calendar specifications and form types to be included in the study
. Executes study set up
. Assists in the development of study specific data collection forms
This position requires a professional nursing degree or other healthcare certification. A Bachelors degree in Life Science or Bachelors of Science degree and 2+ years of research experience is acceptable. Experience in a multi-modality clinical trials group or research team a plus. Some travel may be required.

- Assist the Director, Business Development in identifying potential sales targets, define and develop leads, and achieve bid opportunities
-Responsible for supporting and developing new customers principally among large pharmaceutical companies, vendor management groups, and clinical research organizations (CRO's)
-Responsible for negotiating and finalizing projects including budgets and scope of works with defined target of customers
-Required to be present at professional events, scientific meetings and venues where ACR Image Metrix is either exhibiting or attending
-Responsible for developing and keeping a customer profile including company profiles, products of interest to us, contact names
-Lead sales RFP (Request For Proposal) and RFI (Request For Information) process and follow up with the customers including contract budgeting and contract follow up
-Collaborates with ACR department leaders, such as legal, finance, and diagnostic imaging, to gather input and data to include into RFPs and RFIs
This position requires 3 - 5 years of related experience of related experience. This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree. Good communications skills are a must.
