The Senior Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for managing, planning, organizing, and leading tasks and projects for the entire acquisition life-cycle, and for exceeding client expectations in the quality of all client deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities
* Develops and reviews acquisition strategies, documentation, statements of objectives, source selection plans, and business cases that support acquisition decisions;
* Provides acquisition support for services and supplies, including major system acquisitions, and executes the full life-cycle acquisition requirement;
* Responsible for utilizing automated systems for tracking and monitoring acquisition status, funding, implementation, and closeout;
* Expected to utilize Acquisition Solutions&rsquo; knowledge base to stay current on all facets of acquisition.Distinguishing Characteristics and Qualifications

* Relevant experience, to include well-developed acquisition planning, strategy development, negotiations, contract administration, pricing analysis, and related functional assignments in the execution of the acquisition related requirements;
* Superior knowledge of performance-based service contracting concepts, strategies, and governing rules and regulations;
* Knowledge and mastery of federal acquisition laws and regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and agency specific regulations;
* Knowledge of General Accounting Principles, including a working knowledge of project financial statements and an understanding of basic business principals as they relate to profitability;
* Knowledge of project management principles, automated tools, and program status tracking techniques;
* Knowledge of DoD 5000 Standards (DOD positions only);
* Fifteen or more years of experience in the federal acquisition arena;
* Active TS/SCI clearance (current TS/SCI eligibility or access);
* Bachelor of Science degree in a related field / Certifications or equivalent required.

Federal Sales Representative
This position in the Knowledge and Learning Products (K&amp;LP) organization is responsible for driving sales of the Acquisition Solutions Virtual Acquisition Office (VAO) and training products to industry, state, and federal government users.
Primary Responsibilities
* Meets/exceeds revenue objectives. 
* Educates potential clients and existing clients on how the above mentioned product lines meet their needs through meetings, training sessions, and presentations.
* Develops key contacts and business relationships with members of the government including influential individuals and professional organizations.
* Develops strategic sales plans using business analysis tools to identify and track revenue trends, recognize sales opportunities, target specific sales activities, and analyze competitive threats.
* Establishes and maintains excellent customer relationships at all levels, and acts as liaison between sales support and our customers to provide superior service.
* Develops and implements plans that identifies sales strategies, assesses revenue potential, and outlines targeted activities to maximize revenue opportunities.
* Negotiates and re-negotiates long term pricing contracts.
* Works closely in a team environment to satisfy customer needs and to maximize revenue opportunities.
* Meets new business objectives by demonstrating the ability to develop and manage new business pipelines, cold calls on prospects, and conducts convincing and persuasive new business presentations and demonstrations.Distinguishing Characteristics and Qualifications

About the PositionWe are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Sales &amp; Business Development Executive to join our growing company. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone with experience in leading teams to craft complex solutions to help address Federal agency needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaming strategies, capture management, strategic account planning, as well as existing contacts at the C-level in Federal agencies.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of leading government sales ideally in a professional services/consulting organization. Experience in assigned sector (DoD, DHS, Civilian) strongly preferred.
* Superior relationship building and consultative sales abilities with outstanding presentation, communication, technical and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with government executives.
* Thorough understanding of federal government business cycles, bid and RFP processes.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively, both independently and in teams, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established quality standards.
* Must be able to pass a security investigation if necessary; current TS with SCI eligibility a plus.

* Assists the Directorate of Contracting with implementation of any portion of the Seven Steps to Performance-Based Acquisition. Program Manager
The Program Manager is primarily responsible for managing, planning, organizing, and leading tasks and projects for the entire project management life-cycle, and for exceeding client expectations in the quality of all client deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities
* Develops and reviews program management strategies, documentation, and business processes that support performance based acquisition contracts.
* Provides program management support for acquisition programs that provide services and supplies, including major system, and the full life-cycle program support to clients.
* Responsible for utilizing automated systems for tracking and monitoring acquisition status, funding, implementation, and closeout.
* Expected to utilize Acquisition Solutions&rsquo; knowledge base to stay current on all facets of acquisition.Distinguishing Characteristics and Qualifications

* Ability and desire to maintain and expand client relationships through the delivery of high quality work;
* Well developed written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to read regulatory, policy and related acquisition guidance, interpret that guidance to a stated situation, and apply the concepts presented in the guidance;
* Ability to think independently and provide others with convincing and persuasive evidence that supports a stated acquisition strategy or position;
* Ability to multitask and work effectively, both independently and in teams, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established quality standards;
* Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with senior level government managers and teammates during periods of high stress and tight deadlines;
* Previous supervisory, leadership, or mentoring experience with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teammates toward achieving desired goals and outcomes;
* Ten or more years of experience in an environment where acquisition strategies, concepts, and management techniques were utilized that provided a keen knowledge and understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and agency specific regulations, including the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations;
* Management experience, to include well-developed acquisition planning, strategy development, negotiations, contract administration, pricing analysis, and related functional assignments in the execution of the acquisition related requirements;
* Superior knowledge of performance-based service contracting concepts, strategies, and governing rules and regulations;
* Knowledge of General Accounting Principles, including a working knowledge of project financial statements and an understanding of basic business principals as they relate to profitability;
* Knowledge of program management disciplines, including program management plans, risk management plans, quality assurance plans, performance monitoring requirements and the automated tools, and program status tracking techniques required to support program operations; and
* Bachelor of Science degree in a related field / Certifications or equivalent required
