Responsibilities:
* Analyze and resolve customer-reported technical issues with the Acme Packet Net-Net OS-E product, a session border controller platform for enterprise and IP contact centers. NN OS-E is a Unix-based embedded system that provides all of the critical controls for delivering trusted, first class interactive communications &#8211; voice, video, and multimedia sessions &#8211; across IP network borders
* Design and implement small-scale enhancement requests in the state of the art embedded web interface as well as other functional related to network management such as&#160; LDAP and other directory support,&#160; accounting and call control integration.&#160;
* Work closely with the Professional Services organization to gather data, reproduce problems, and provide patch fixes to fortune 500 customers in both lab and production environments.
&#160;Experience/Qualifications:
* BSCS/EE/CE plus 3-5 years Java programming experience on large business applications.
* 3-10&#160;years&#160;of Java web application programming experience including JSP, servlets, tags and CSS.
* Ability to excel in a fast paced environment working closely with colleagues as well as working independently.
* Strong oral communications skills and a disciplined approach to software engineering practices
* LDAP,&#160; Syslog,&#160; ActiveDirectory,&#160; JTAPI,&#160; Radius,&#160; SQL database experience a plus.

- Diagnose and fix software defects in MGCP/SIP/H.323 products.
- Design and implement minor RFE's within our session border controller product line
- Write functional and design specifications as required.
- Develop a working knowledge of VoIP protocols supported by the Net-Net product line, and perform sustaining engineering for VoIP protocols.
Experience/Qualifications:
- BSCS/EE or equivalent with 1-2 years of development experience
- C++ experience required
- Must have knowledge of IP networking
- Some experience with VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, H.248) desirable
- Must work effectively in a team environment working within a shared code-base
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

- Develop tools to assist in the diagnosis of EMS, database, and network problems.
- Work closely with the Professional Services organization to gather data, reproduce problems, and provide patch fixes to customers in both lab and production environments.

Experience/Qualifications:
-&#160;BSCS/EE with some experience writing web-based application in Java and c++.
- Familiarity with Java Swing or other GUI components, and comfort level with back-end database design.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of AdventNet WebNMS framework is a plus, as are DBA skills for MySQL and/or Oracle
- Must be able to work independently, and multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Job Description
The ideal candidate is a proven course developer and technical trainer with voice and data networking experience. The Course Developer will design, develop and deliver training course materials to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various Acme Packet products.  The delivery of course materials will encompass pilot classes for the new materials along with the first two teaches of the class to customers.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new and update existing instructor-led training course materials using existing processes and tools.
* Participate in beta delivery of course materials.  Some International travel may be required.
* Perform training analysis and training development plans for student guides, lab guides and topology diagrams.
* Work with subject matter experts to determine course content.
* Produce and deliver results on time and within budget, using solid project management techniques, in a fast-paced changing environment. 
Qualifications/Experience:
* Experience developing & delivering course materials for a technical audience.
* 3 or more years working in technology including knowledge of voice and data products including the following: VoIP, SIP, H.323, H.248, MGCP, and IP Routing.
* Familiarity with course development procedures with knowledge of grammar and style; ability to generate intuitive graphics.
* Fluency in the following: Microsoft Office (all applications, especially Word and PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat.
* Requires a BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
