Experience/Qualifications:

* C/C++ experience required
* Knowledge of VxWorks and/or Linux RTOS required

Job Description
We have a need for a Technical Support Engineer to support customer session border controller network deployed products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for support activities required to troubleshoot and resolve technical customer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Open and track trouble tickets through problem resolution, and provide summary reports to customers.
- Escalate issues into the Engineering organization as required.
- Analyze problem reports, replicate customer environment and reproduce customer problems in our lab environment.
- Limited travel and participation in paid 'on call' rotation required.
Experience/Qualifications:
- BSCS/EE or equivalent experience and 3+ years in technical support engineering within telecommunications and/or data communications.
- Must be familiar with carrier class networking and telephony environments with an emphasis on next generation IP services.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas of specialization required: LAN/WAN data networking architectures and routing protocols, IP Telephony Architectures and VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP/RTCP), Security and Quality of Service (MPLS/DiffServ).

Job Description
The ideal candidate is a proven course developer and technical trainer with voice and data networking experience. The Course Developer will design, develop and deliver training course materials to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various Acme Packet products.  The delivery of course materials will encompass pilot classes for the new materials along with the first two teaches of the class to customers.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new and update existing instructor-led training course materials using existing processes and tools.
* Participate in beta delivery of course materials.  Some International travel may be required.
* Perform training analysis and training development plans for student guides, lab guides and topology diagrams.
* Work with subject matter experts to determine course content.
* Produce and deliver results on time and within budget, using solid project management techniques, in a fast-paced changing environment. 
Qualifications/Experience:
* Experience developing & delivering course materials for a technical audience.
* 3 or more years working in technology including knowledge of voice and data products including the following: VoIP, SIP, H.323, H.248, MGCP, and IP Routing.
* Familiarity with course development procedures with knowledge of grammar and style; ability to generate intuitive graphics.
* Fluency in the following: Microsoft Office (all applications, especially Word and PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat.
* Requires a BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Analyze and resolve customer-reported issues with the Acme Packet Net-Net Element Management System (EMS).
- Design and implement small-scale enhancement requests.
- Develop tools to assist in the diagnosis of EMS, database, and network problems.
- Work closely with the Professional Services organization to gather data, reproduce problems, and provide patch fixes to customers in both lab and production environments.

Experience/Qualifications:
-&#160;BSCS/EE with some experience writing web-based application in Java and c++.
- Familiarity with Java Swing or other GUI components, and comfort level with back-end database design.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of AdventNet WebNMS framework is a plus, as are DBA skills for MySQL and/or Oracle
- Must be able to work independently, and multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
