Overview:
We are currently seeking a Software Deployment and Integration Manager for an immediate opening at our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. This position will be the primary point of contract for deploying and integrating J2EE/Oracle-based enterprise application software at Aclara customer sites. This position will work with development staff to formulate deployment strategies, schedules and documentation appropriate to the particular needs of each client. Assist clients in defining the deployment scenario, appropriate integration testing and aids in the definition of infrastructure needed to meet deployment and integration objectives. Lead a deployment team at the customer sites to perform all activities before, during and after deployment to ensure success of Aclara and client objectives. The Software Deployment and Integration Manager will be responsible for deployment and management of TWACS software integration and test environments, branch and build strategies and management, and for performance testing and performance testing environments.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinates with the development team to conduct pre-deployment activities including schedules, staffing and infrastructure preparation.
* Oversees the acquisition of technical information from the development staff and the client for each deployment. Collates the technical deployment data and manages the production of high-quality documentation for all installation and deployment activities.
* Executes and manages pre-deployment activities for each client and each release of the software. Coordinates all activities between the Aclara development staff and the client&rsquo;s Information Technology operations and management staff.
* Validates all pre-deployment activities have been properly executed and provides recommendation to TWACS NG and senior Aclara management concerning readiness for successful deployment.
* Manages and assists with deployment activities, performing appropriate levels of validation and verification according to the approved deployment plan. This may include assisting the client with component- and enterprise-level validations of system interfaces and functionality.
* Tracks deployment-related issues to completion and reports to Aclara management on status. Escalates issues to senior management as needed to ensure timely resolution.
* Develops strategies for future enhancements to deployment processes. Provides recommendations to the Product Manager to permit changes and enhancements to future releases that would support improvements to future deployments or enhance product conformance to existing utility practices.
* Manage software integration and test environments. 
* Manage software branching and build strategies and activities.

Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree and 8-10 years experience in leading teams of software and systems engineers in the deployment and integration of complex enterprise applications.
* Minimum of 5 years experience working directly with end users and client management to provide assistance, manage expectations and prioritize requirements.
* Minimum of 3 years applying sound management principles to:
* Application deployment planning and execution
* Systems integration and testing
* Client management and reporting
* Project management and planning
* Technical experience in at least one for the following areas:
* Application Architecture
* Data Architecture
* Integration/Security
* Infrastructure Architecture
* Utility business practices and processes
* In addition, ideal candidates will also have experience in five or more of the following:
* Prior systems integration experience.
* Leading teams through IT Strategy initiatives.
* Deploying and/or supporting an application using WebLogic application server.
* Supporting an application within a UNIX environment.
* Leveraging overall technical architecture knowledge to define integration strategies that provide maximal conformance to established business processes.
* Business process analysis, mapping, and design.
* Requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis.
* Leading Testing efforts, including all phases: System, Integration, and Performance Testing and ensuring traceability.
* Significant application architecture experience with J2EE, large enterprise databases and implementation of service-oriented architectures.
* Experience with enterprise applications such as Siebel, SAP, Peoplesoft or Oracle
* Use of information systems and business practices in the utility industry
* Excellent verbal and written communications.
* Demonstrated ability to provide multiple-client support is a plus.
* Experience working in a process-oriented environment using SEI CMM, SEI CMMI or ISO 9001 is highly desirable.

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer for an immediate opening at our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. Activities will center principally in the field support of TWACS SCE, RCE and Computer (TNS) software training and support. Provide full TWACS level support including customer field support for Installation, Maintenance and Training of TWACS TNS Master Station, Meter Integration, and SCE field Equipment. Support all phases of Market Mobile Demo Unit (systems operation, maintenance, and driver). Develop user documentation and test procedure for new products.

Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site customer start-up of TNS and Substation equipment.
* Support the Customer Call Center by providing phone support on TNS, Communication Problems, SCE and RCE related issues.
* Initial TNS functionality Testing on customer&rsquo;s server.
* Develop user documentation and test procedure for new SCE products and TNS functionality.
* Field support of TWACS SCE, RCE and TNS Training.
* Making modifications to equipment to improve operation when needed.
* Become familiar with the operation and maintenance of all TWACS products; gaining working knowledge of all required TWACS Test Equipment (RTS, STS, Hand Held, Meter Shop Tools).
* Identifying and communicate in a timely fashion, design deficiencies, customer concerns, and quality problems to the proper departments.
* Performing liaison work between Customer and DCSI Program Management. Provide timely system acceptance within budgetary constraints.
* Conduct Meter Training and TNS Level 1 and Level 2 training.
* Temporary On-site support maybe required for six months to a year during a customer start-up.
* Activities may involve up to 75% travel within the USA and Internationally.

Qualifications:
* Prefer four year degree or minimum two year Associates in Electronics Technology.
* Two or more years of Field Engineering Work.
* Two or more years Customer interface experience.
* Two or more years of Electric Utility Technical and support experience.
* Computer experience &ndash; Microsoft 2000, Microsoft Excel, Access, Oracle SQL.
