The Hospital is currently in the early stages of a multi-year, phased rollout of an inpatient Electronic Medical Record. The Director of Clinical Information Systems will be responsible for overseeing the clinical aspects of designing and implementing the EMR. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Department Manager and the Medical Director and with approved policy and procedure is responsible for assisting the cardiologist, both technically and clinically in the assessment, planning, executing and evaluating the care of patients. The CVL Nurse must be willing to cross train and float to other areas of the hospital to meet the needs of the facility
ACCOUNTABILITY
The CVL Staff Nurse is responsible and accountable for all nursing care provided to their patients. The nurse is accountable to the patient, Department manager, Medical Director, and Chief Nurse Executive.
QUALIFICATIONS

* Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (A.D., Diploma, B.S.N., or Master's Degree in Nursing).
* Current registered nurse's license in the State of Florida.
* Minimum of two (2) years Level II Interventional Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, or Invasive Vascular Lab experience required.
* Must pass Critical Care test with a minimum of 80%.
* Current BLS, ACLS, basic dysrhythmia, and IABP certifications
* Willingness to be cross trained to other areas.
* CCRN preferred. Basic computer skills.
