JOB DESCRIPTION:


Summary:
Sells the co-employment services of Accord Human Resources to small and medium sized businesses.
&#160;
Essential Duties &#38; Responsibilities include the following:

&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Compiles lists of prospective customers for sales leads
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Performs telephone and direct mail prospecting
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Travels throughout the assigned territory to call on prospective customers for the purpose of identifying those businesses interested in Accord&#39;s services.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Understands all fundamental aspects of the P.E.O. business including payroll management, employment law regulations, and employee benefits and explains the value of these services to prospective clients.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Listens to and understands customer needs and demonstrates the application of&#160;&#160;Accord&#39;s services to those needs.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Gathers data for the preparation of sales proposals and contracts.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Works with the Regional Sales Manager to develop successful sales strategies for prospects and the market.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Delivers sales and contract proposals to customers and procures commitments from prospective clients.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Assists with the implementation of Accord&#39;s program for new clients.
&#160;
&#183;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Completes other sales and marketing tasks as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of three years prior sales experience. Experience in related field preferred (i.e. health insurance, workers&#39; compensation insurance, payroll processing services, staff leasing)
&#160;
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
&#160;
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
&#160;
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
&#160;
