Position Summary:
The Helen L. Weiss Senior Day Program currently has an opening for a pool Recreational Assistant to be on call for coverage when the Director of the day program is unable to work. 

This position requires ability to work on an on-call basis, as well as a flexible schedule. The hours are typically 8am - 4:30pm, but the center cannot close (and the pool Recreational Asst. cannot leave) until the last client has left for the day. 

The Recreational Assistant is an unlicensed employee who provides individualized care and services to the clients of Senior Day Program. The Recreational Assistant develops an understanding of each client&rsquo;s needs, preferences and interests while maintaining their independence, dignity and self-esteem.

The Recreational Assistant will provide assistance according to each clients&rsquo; individualized Plan of Care with activities of daily living, medication administration (certified), recreational programming and documentation in the daily progress notes, in home correspondence and monthly summaries. The Recreational Assistant reports to the Director of the Adult Day Program.
 
Requirements
Minimum Experience: Experience working with the elderly.
Preferred Experience:A minimum of one year experience working with the elderly.     
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements:Ability to be on-call (could receive a call early in the morning that will need to cover that day)

TheHospice of the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Lifeprovides specialized care to individuals who are approaching the end of life. Hospice emphasizes managing symptoms, such as pain, in order to provide comfort and foster the highest quality of life possible. At the
Abramson
Centerfor Jewish Life, hospice care includes spiritual and emotional support for residents and their families, as well as help in working through personal problems that may surface. Our hospice team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, certified nursing assistants, and dieticians, as well as trained volunteers.

This new and growing Hospice program currently has a need forWeekend On-Call Hospice RN Case Managers.
This is an exciting opportunity as the program grows and expands into the community. As a Hospice RN for the Hospice of the
Abramson
Center, you would be responsible for: Assessing the health status of assigned residents; implementing and evaluating individualized nursing interventions; and coordinating care delivery.
Please note that this position will require some travel within the community, so reliable transportation is required.
The
Abramson
Centeris conveniently located in the suburbs, on a 72-acre campus, minutes from Route 309, 611 and the PA Turnpike.
 
Requirements
Minimum Experience: 1+ years of experience in a med/surg environment. Hospice experience strongly preferred.
Minimum Education: Graduation from a Commonwealth-approved School of Nursing.
Licensure/Certification: Current Pennsylvania RN Licensure.

Position Summary:

HS diploma and 2 years human services related college study required. Experience with adult or geriatric population, running groups, or currently enrolled in Therapeutic Rec., Music Therapy, or Social Work Bachelor&rsquo;s degree program preferred.
