Prepare customer submittals, order acknowledgments, and design and drawing submittals for review and approvals.
Coordinate with other departments and ABB units to ensure the scheduled completion of all assigned tasks, products, etc.
Initiate invoices for drop ship orders.
Assist in supporting Administrative Support position and other account Administrators as needed.
Assist Sales in securing new business opportunities within a geographical area.

Req Description JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Account Administrator is responsible for managing the order activities in a given geographical area or product type, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Account Administrator responsibilities include coordinating with other groups to provide effective responses to customer requirements and anticipation of future needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Process and expedite standard, sub-contracting and consignment customer transactions for both standard and engineered drive orders including sales orders, return orders, and debit/credit memos using a computerized order processing system.
Interface with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the completion and arrival of drives, components, and other equipment that meet company quality and specification requirements. Issue purchase orders as required and execute transactions in accordance with sound purchasing practices and corporate procurement principles.
Investigate and resolve invoicing issues or service and delivery problems, or assist in their resolution, and implement measures to ensure customer satisfaction.
Offer changes and additions to the contract as requested by the customer and coordinate this with the responsible Account Manager.
Prepare customer submittals, order acknowledgments, and design and drawing submittals for review and approvals.
Coordinate with other departments and ABB units to ensure the scheduled completion of all assigned tasks, products, etc.
Initiate invoices for drop ship orders.
Assist in supporting Administrative Support position and other account Administrators as needed.
Assist Sales in securing new business opportunities within a geographical area.
Work with the Territory Manager and Shared Services to resolve any potential credit issues of a distributor/account.
Ensure the completion and maintenance of all records, paperwork, documentation, etc. necessary to comply with regulatory demands and ABB internal policies.
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations; Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Work Experience Requires a Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related discipline plus up to 5 years experience OR alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments. Candidate must have B2B customer service experience.

Expedite final disposition as required. Record additional data and final disposition in the rejects database. Scrap material in an environmentally correct way per company procedures. Arrange for return of material to suppliers as required.
Create weekly supplier notifications on rejected material using queries and reports in the rejects database. Maintain email addresses of supplier?s quality representatives and electronically send the notifications to them. Respond to requests for additional information, photos, samples etc. from suppliers concerning rejected materials.
Assist with non-conforming material responsibilities, specifically data entry using the ESPA (reject database).
Responsible for creating SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Reports) & Containment Reports and other follow-up activities involved with the process.
Completion of SCAR data entry activities in SAP and back end notification processes.
Provide updated reports to the Sourcing & Engineering teams during supplier quality meetings.
Assist Buyers in obtaining credit from suppliers for rejected material.
Strong computer/software skills using MS Office, SAP & Lotus Notes required.

Req Description BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
Review and coordinate quality assurance and quality control specifications. Develop or evaluate quality programs, measure quality activities and coordinate quality functions. Recommend and implement measures to improve effectiveness of quality operations and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Typical duties/responsibilities for quality may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Define and develop quality assurance programs to ensure conformance to codes and regulations.
Conduct supplier and construction surveys, audits and inspections for system and product conformance to quality requirements. Coordinate quality initiatives at customer sites, perform internal audits and assist customer in performing other quality assurance activities. Recommend measures to optimize operations while maintaining quality.
Review purchase orders and specifications for proper quality requirements. Review and approve vendor and field quality assurance plans and practices and, as applicable, suggest changes.
Provide technical advice in specialized quality assurance technology such as nondestructive testing, metrology, statistical techniques, fabrication techniques, quality codes and regulations. Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
COMPLEXITY OF TASKS:
Assignments require thorough understanding of standard engineering concepts and principles and in-depth knowledge of quality assurance programs and procedures. Requires ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers and internal groups, negotiate changes and influence decisions. Requires ability to make decisions on quality matters, subject to general overview. Errors typically result in minor loss of time and rework.
