Seeking highly qualified Caster or Foundryman with experience in jewelry casting or precision investment casting. A self starter with the ability to lead a small quick turn production casting operation plus work with a R&amp;D team to develop new casting capabilities.
* 
Run a small casting operation efficiently and on schedule
* 
Plan and estimate quick turn casting jobs
* 
Interact and work with the sales coordinator to schedule and meet the customer requirements
* 
Work hands on while meeting foundry goals
* 
Direct the work of casting assistants to meet foundry goals
* 
Work with the companies technical staff to develop and innovate new precision casting capability
* 
Participate in technology transfer to other company sites including travel and may include interim remote assignment for some period of time
Experience
* 
Five years of experience in a precision casting environment
* 
Two years of experience in a casting or foundry position responsible for the entire casting function
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities
* 
Knowledge of the various investment casting methods
* 
Specific knowledge and understanding of the flask investment casting method
* 
Knowledge and understanding of a variety of casting equipment; ability to quickly learn and master new equipment
* 
Knowledge and capability of casting a variety of alloys including precious metals, stainless steel and aluminum
* 
Knowledge and capability of wax patterns and wax finishing. Knowledge and capability of gating and sprue design and placement for a wide variety of part types. Knowledge and capability of tree design and construction for efficient production
* 
Knowledge and capability of metal finishing and polishing, including tree and sprue removal and finishing to customer requirements
* 
Knowledge of accuracy capability and factors in casting
* 
Good knowledge of manufacturing process flow and ability to constantly review and improve the casting workflow
* 
Good communication skills to work with the staff and to direct casting assistants
* 
Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
* 
A general knowledge of solid CAD and the ability to review and understand CAD designs

Description 
Seeking highly motivated RP parts sales professional with demonstrated experience working for a recognized service bureau. A self starter having the ability to identify and develop new accounts, maintain and service existing accounts, and work with 3Dproparts distributors and resellers. Must be willing to work on the basis of success with the primary measurement being account identification, development and retention measured against mutually agreed monthly revenue quotas. 
* Utilize various contacts and other information resources to locate (cold call) and set up appointments with prospective new customers that fit within target markets suitable for these types of parts and services 
* Collaborate and coordinate with the equipment sales team, indirect sales channels, including distributors and resellers and referral agents to locate and capitalize on new business opportunities
* Follow up on marketing generated leads from our strong web assets, trade shows, direct mail, and other activities
* Develop networks and contacts to sell into companies and organizations at a high level with an enterprise-wide multiple unit approach  
* Develop strong product knowledge of all 3Dproparts solutions, products and services in order to present a broad, and reasonably deep overview of the technical capabilities of our offerings in the context of an overall tailored solution 
* Be able to recognize when additional 3D technical resources are required to satisfy a customer's applications; know how to effectively and efficiently utilize those resources
* Be able to effectively articulate and present a value analysis that quantifies 3Dproparts benefits and demonstrates measurable cost savings versus competition
* Communicate and effectively execute Sales Forecasts and Strategic Sales Plans to management
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience:
Two years of territory sales experience with a proven track record of significant measurable success selling RP parts for a recognizable service bureau; comfortable in a salary + commission sales environment with sales targets and quota expectations
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:
* Experience selling RP parts, preferably to manufacturing or engineering or design customers
* Experience in creating presentations that translate product and solution benefits into measurable, quantifiable cost savings
* Experience working in a service bureau environment is a must
* Requires an ambitious and optimistic personality with an aggressive approach to selling
* A reputation of integrity and a track record of creatively satisfying customer needs    
* A strong track record of developing and growing business within an existing customer base, as well as aggressively pursuing new business through cold calls and other prospecting avenues
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development and flow through an organization, and purchasing procedures is required
* Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint   
* Willing and able to work from home
* Must have a valid driver's license and own a suitable vehicle for visiting and transporting customers
