The primary responsibility of this position is the maintenance of the fixed asset module in Oracle, general ledger processing and account reconciliations. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS: This position acts within the constraints of Financial Accounting Standards, Corporate Policies and established departmental procedures. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: · Coordinate monthly general ledger activities including journal entries and report generation · Prepare accurate general ledger account reconciliations including, but not limited to, accounts receivable, unbilled receivables, prepaids and other current assets, intercompany receivables/payables with non-US subsidiaries, deferred revenue and other current liabilities · Maintain fixed assets and intangible assets module; report on the same by preparing roll-forward schedules and certain account analysis; take leadership role with the periodic physical inventory · Maintain foreign currency exchange rates · Serve as primary backup for royalty calculations and analysis · Assist with SOX audit by serving as SOX management tester · Verify consolidation/elimination journal entries · Assist as needed with the preparation of the SEC 10-Q and 10-K documents · Assist with updating standard costs and transfer pricing in cost management system · Provide support during external quarterly reviews and annual audit JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Formal Training: BA/BS in Accounting (preferred) or Finance required; CPA (or currently sitting for exam) preferred Experience: * Four years of accounting experience required * Experience in a manufacturing environment with international operations a plus Knowledge, Skill & Ability: * Ability to prepare analyses, reports and presentations * Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently * Excellent organizational skills solid computer skills * Extensive experience with general ledger software * Oracle ERP experience preferred but not required * Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with individuals at various levels within and outside the company at various geographic locations; also work well with associates within and outside the company * Ability to perform assignments within tight deadlines, withstand a stressful working environment and ability to work overtime on a short notice as needed EEO/AA M/F/D/V Contact Clickhereto apply online. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS: * Interact with Chemist, Software Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, and Laser Scientists, while creating, specifying, confirming and optimizing rapid prototyping processes with variable parameters using statistical methods * Understand additive manufacturing process and conduct hands-on experiments on the 3D printing equipment and Film Transfer Imaging technology. * Must be capable to independently execute research and development projects and develop thorough reports on the research. * Provide industry specific expertise in 3D printing and UV curing applications. * Characterize process, accuracy, and reliability capability of Film Transfer Imaging Technology. * Create full-scope research documentation including routine laboratory entries, formal reports, and intellectual property disclosures * The candidate is expected to spend more than 60% of the time in a laboratory environment conducting experiments in developing and optimizing process parameters using DOE and statistical methods * Interacts heavily with software engineers in developing a robust process that produces accurate and durable parts from the Film Transfer Imaging Technology * Duties include domestic and overseas travel and interim relocation to other company facilities for extended periods * Develop process on Film Transfer Imaging technology by working with hardware and systems engineers in order to evaluate and verify machine/hardware * Develop processes for different applications on Film Transfer Imaging technology and 3D printing * Conduct theoretical and laboratory research demonstrating the capabilities of these new methods, interacting and coordinating with cross-functional engineers * All development work must be done following good safety practices JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Training: * M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with focus on manufacturing process and process monitoring using statistical methods and DOE * Hands on experience in manufacturing process Experience: * 2 to 5 years experience in mechanical engineering discipline * Should have demonstrated ability to write by having published at least 2 technical papers * Should have demonstrated ability in public speaking by conducting a presentation in front of a group with more than 30 people with the relevant technical background Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities * Experience and/or knowledge about statistics and process control are required, such as Statistical Process Controls * Experienced and knowledge in 3D CAD modeling * Strong analytical skills to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors * Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for defining problems and obtaining solutions * Development and implementation of processes that deal with control of distortion, accuracy and building speed in solid imaging systems, including system integration, setting-up and testing new systems, system evaluation and re-design * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret all relevant job material and pertinent accounting literature. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals * Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables * Ability to partner with all cross functions and tenacity to confront all relevant performance issues * Ability to formulate solid conclusion without direct supervision * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of mangers, clients, customers, and general public * Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities Contact Clickhereto apply online.
