Inside Sales Account Manager
Location: Munich, Germany
Overall Purpose of Job:
Achieve quarterly sales-out quotas via fixed list of approx 100 resellers.
Conduct business-to-business outbound and inbound telephone calls to build awareness of 3Com products and campaigns, in order to generate new business across named Reseller Base.
Identify a clear picture of the potential client's business goals, strategies and needs and present them with an outline 3Com solution.
Secure effective contact commitments against pre-defined targets, whilst providing excellent customer service in line with 3Com's culture and ethos.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  
Achieve a call rate target of a minimum of 60 proactive outbound partner calls per day. These calls are made to partners who are currently buying or have historically purchased 3Com products through our base of authorised distribution partners. 
·Effectively identify from the decision-maker, the partner's goals and strategy in order to match 3Com's products to their end user portfolio.
Build the customer's awareness of 3Com's products, campaigns and service ethic during calls.
Act as direct point of contact/sales support for named partners end-user customers.
Gain commitment to receive contact via building a level of interest and effective rapport building.
Ensure that all actions agreed are followed through to completion and that appropriate skills and ability are used to be able to identify a partner that demonstrates the potential to develop and provide growth within the 3Com partner channel.
Attend all training/briefing sessions given by various 3Com business colleagues to ensure all knowledge levels on products, pricing and promotions are up to date.
Build strong relationships with own team and provide weekly forecasts against all business to manager.
Effectively resolve issues and queries at first point of contact or through an agreed follow-up process.
Skills and Experience:
·Highly articulate and influential manner, demonstrating excellent sales and service skills.
·Previous Account Management Experience, with a track record of account growth.
·Within a high tech environment, proven track record within telesales/account management.
·Excellent telemarketing/sales skills, with a demonstrable ability to create interest, recognise buying signals and identify business opportunities for 3Com.
·Ability to work using own initiative to resolve issues reactively and proactively.
·Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
·Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·Committed customer service ethos. 
·Proven ability in using spreadsheets and databases.
.Fluency in verbal and written English plus appropriate language for the job.
Qualifications and Education:

Understands all the elements of an H3C technical solution and explains them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Provides pre-sales support to 3Com Systems Engineers on complex network designs, strategic account engagements, and RFP support.
Skills and Experience:
Field sales support experience, preferably with enterprise-level customers with a proven track record of helping win large projects.
Experience in a direct or supporting role to product management and a strong ability to work collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong writing skills with experience writing technical documents.
Strong presentation skills with experience presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with Cisco or other data center solutions is desired.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Willing to travel both domestically and internationally up to 35%.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Education:

This is a key role within 3Com's EMEA Sales organisation with responsibility for the Iberian Enterprise Sales organisation.

Sales Engineer - India

Overall Purpose of Job:
The Sales Engineer will help attain sales goals in India. The Sales Engineer will demonstrate TippingPoint products and services to all levels within customer organizations and will be responsible for successfully executing lab and field trials of TippingPoint products. Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Qualifications:
·   7+ years industry experience in presales engineering in security industry

·   In-depth knowledge of network routing protocols and Internet troubleshooting techniques.
·   Working knowledge of intrusion detection, firewall and encryption applications
·   Working knowledge of network and system exploits, vulnerabilities and hacking techniques and methods to block, monitor or track them
·   Working knowledge of Information Security Products and Techniques(</x{(}>Intrusion Detection, URL filtering, Firewall &amp; system monitoring, encryption technologies/VPNs/PKI/IPSEC, etc.)
·   Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong written and verbal skills
·   Ability to demonstrate product, run lab and field trials, and perform system troubleshooting and resolution at customer sites
·   Ability to teach technology to other presales engineers and partners
·   Good interpersonal/customer-relations skills and the ability to guide customer/user ideas into realistic security solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
1.Deliver or exceed Sales targets through activities on End Users
2.Generate leads and qualify opportunities to determine whether 3Com can secure the business
3.Manage all projects in excess of $100,000 in value and follow through all deals until the project has been won.
4.Successfully influence the end user's decision-making process to ensure 3Com wins the business/tender
5.Keep ahead of the competition with knowledge of competitor's products and services

Skills and Experience:

Overall Purpose of Job:
Technical Support Team Leader
Location: Hemel, UK
Coordinate a team of Support Engineers providing multilingual support for 3Com customers in Small, Medium and Large Business environments throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa, to ensure that support cases are being effectively managed to achieve required quality targets.
Provide in-depth technical support on 3Com products in order to help customers resolve product problems, and where analysis of situations requires detailed evaluation of various network data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure case queues are effectively monitored and cases assigned to ensure SLAs are met.
Monitor progress of the team's cases and assist, escalate or intervene where appropriate.
Provide accurate, consistent, timely and efficient system technical support for end users, Resellers and 3Com Field staff in accordance with established policies, processes and standards.
Create Knowledgebase documentation.
Provide status updates on high severity, high priority or "hot" cases.
Carryout routine case reporting(</x{(}>daily/weekly) to monitor SLA compliance(</x{(}>first response, time to solution).
Compile case status reports for customers when required.
Organise team rotas.
Attend regular technical escalation and review meetings to provide input on behalf of the team and feedback information to the team.
Interface with the following teams:
Product Support Team for advice, guidance and case escalation;
Warranty Customer Service Team / Customer Advocacy Team for complaints and transfer of warranty RMA, entitlement, licence/activation key and eSupport queries;
New Product Introduction Team for matters relating to the introduction of new products, including feedback on new product documentation.
Assist peers and other 3Com organizations as required for product improvement or customer satisfaction.
Coordinate activities to manage the lab.
Document and maintain procedures and work instructions for Enterprise Support processes.

Skills and Experience:
This position requires strong leadership, communication and presentation skills, the ability to plan and organise, a well-developed technical aptitude, the ability to work successfully as part of a team, and a strong technology background.
He/she must have previous experience in leading or managing a team of technically qualified people, preferably in a customer-facing environment.

A complete understanding of data communications concepts of network architecture and their role in designing and implementing home and small-office networks
Candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills in two or more of the following areas:
Physical layer LAN and WAN protocols(</x{(}>including but not limited to 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet standards(</x{(}>IEEE 802.3), Frame Relay, ADSL, ISDN, ATM, OC3, OC12).
Bridging and routing protocols(</x{(}>including, but not limited to TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree and VLANS

The Field Marketing Specialist is a team player that reports to the Director of Marketing Communications and focuses on field marketing execution for sales, marketing and channel partner activities. Sales/Partner Support:
§ Plan/execute targeted channel marketing programs

Overall Purpose of Job:

Inside Service Sales - French &amp; Italian Speaking

Overall Purpose of Job:
· Execute against, a service sales business growth plan for either 3Com's French, Italian or Central Europe(</x{(}>Germany, Switzerland &amp; Austria) regions, in line with 3Com Global Services and local Sales objectives and revenue plans.

The South China Sales Engineer will report to the SE Team Lead for the Asia Pacific Region and will work day to day with the S. China RSM to help attain sales goals in the China region. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Engineer will demonstrate TippingPoint products and services to all levels within customer organizations and will be responsible for successfully executing lab and field trials of TippingPoint products. The Sales Engineer will provide technical support on pre-sale calls, assess the customer technical environment to suggest solutions and provide feedback to development for product enhancements. Will also participate in the initial planning and deployment of TippingPoint products and provide on-site customer support as needed.
The Sales Engineer will have proven ability to quickly master technical subjects along with excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong written and verbal skills. Also, the ideal candidate will have the ability to teach technology and TippingPoint differentiators to internal/partner/customer resources. In this position, the engineer is primarily responsible for analyzing security vulnerabilities and writing attack filters for the TippingPoint UnityOne Security Appliance. The engineer will also assist with penetration testing of the UnityOne product line, and with the design and development of advanced UnityOne security features. * In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

. Leading channel campaigns/events with the direct goal of increasing the amount of incremental revenue gained through the partners.
. Coordinating proposal development process for successful partner pursuits including determining where to dedicate company resources. 
 
Skills and Experience:
In this role we seek a motivated, self-starter with a passion for direct and continuous engagement with channel partners. Additionally, we seek:
- A strong business collaborator with large DOD and Federal Government System Integrators experience in building long term relationships.
- Successful track record of building pursuit teams for large, multi-million dollar deals within the Federal government.
- 4-5 years direct and measurable experience leading sales efforts focused on providing comprehensive security solutions.
- Excellent pipelining / forecasting / resource management / account management skills essential to success.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to articulate the value proposition of TippingPoint solutions to successfully acquire the mindshare of channel partners.
Exposure to multi-tiered distribution models.
Must be skilled in program management and channel conflict resolution.
Experience selling to and working in conjunction with all levels of professionals(</x{(}>Field reps. through C-level decision makers)

Overall Purpose of Job:
Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue in a specific assigned territory - Southern California &amp; Hawaii
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the sales process in strategic deals in select territory
Facilitate resources as needed to close sales opportunities
Maintain specific pipeline and forecast for all opportunities within territory
Develop strong relationships with all accounts within the territory and develop an overall territory plan
Prospecting(</x{(}>hunting) for new accounts and vertical markets
Top line growth of territory revenue quarter over quarter
Develop account plans on top accounts and involve management and other executives as necessary
Generate end-user demand through events such as seminars on quarterly basis
Maintain an in depth knowledge of the complete product line and value proposition

Skills and Experience:
8+ years successful sales experience in a high technology environment. Must be able to demonstrate professional presentation skills on complex topics, strong written communication skills.
Results oriented and effective in customer situations comprising senior level management as well as technical personnel.
Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic sales environment.
Qualifications and Education:
A complete understanding of data communications and networking concepts, network architectures and their role in designing and implementing computer networks.
Bachelor degree preferred.

Aligned with TippingPoint's sales teams, the focus of this opportunity is to prepare our partners to drive long term revenue targets through on-going channel activities. A critical component to this role is continually recruiting, educating and developing channel partners for TippingPoint.
