Regional Sales Manager - Heartland

Overall Purpose of Job:
The Regional Sales Manager - Heartland will report to the Area Director of the Western United States and will help attain sales goals within this region. The Sales Manager will be responsible for working directly with the Systems Engineers in demonstrating TippingPoint products and services to all levels within Enterprise organizations and entities and will be responsible for successfully helping execute lab and field trials and other product evaluations of TippingPoint products. The Sales Manager will be the primary liaison between the customer and TippingPoint, insuring quality communication and responses to business-related needs and concerns. This includes collaborating with customers to define critical business issues, planning, and deployment of TippingPoint products. Candidate must be knowledgeable regarding network security products. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with large, complex customers
Demonstrated success managing customer expectations in highly complex, political environments and mitigating pre- and post-sale risks
Demonstrated ability to manage internal resources not directly under the individual's control to successfully deliver complex technology solutions
Demonstrated ability to gather, shape and translate basic customer requirements to support the effective delivery of TippingPoint solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong written and verbal skills
Ability to build ROI business and pricing models
Ability to craft and target messaging from the C-Level down throughout the organization

The Sales Manager will be the primary champion between the customer and TippingPoint(</x{(}>a division of 3Com), insuring quality communication and responses to technical and business related needs and concerns. This includes collaborating with customers to define critical business issues, defining requirements for TippingPoint(</x{(}>a division of 3Com) driven solutions, and monitoring contract processes to assure completion and acceptance within a timely period.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Demonstrated success with the network engineering organizations at Large Enterprise customers is preferred
- Demonstrated success creating a new market by placing new technology with a Large Enterprise that fundamentally changes the way they run their network and their business(</x{(}>as opposed to winning business in a pre-defined market)
- Security Sales experience background Netscreen, ISS, NAI, Intrusion
- Networking Sales experience with products from Cisco, Nortel, Acutely, Enterasys
- In-depth understanding of the technical issues critical Large Enterprise customers 
Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have previously achieved $5M+ in annual sales, $20M+ in total sales
10+ years proven sales experience selling complex, large-scale hardware or software solutions 
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Technical Support Engineer - Voice
Location: Hemel, Great Britain
Overall Purpose of Job:
EMEA Technical Support(</x{(}>Voice), Global Support Services(</x{(}>GSO)
Languages: Spanish
o Multilingual support for 3Com-H3C customers in Small, Medium and Large Business environments throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa
o Provide in-depth technical support on 3Com-H3C Voice products in order to help customers resolve product problems, and where analysis of situations requires detailed evaluation of various voice   system and network data. 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
o Provide accurate, consistent, timely and efficient system technical support for end users, Resellers and 3Com-H3C Field staff.
o Respond to requests for support logged via a 3Com-H3C Contact Centre or via eSupport within the relevant SLA
o Accurately define the customer problems and assign the appropriate severity level and priority
o Gather information required to investigate and troubleshoot problems in order to diagnose the cause and determine the most appropriate solution
o Problem reproduction in a support lab environment, provide remote trouble shooting and diagnostics and review of logs, network traces as required.
o Provide timely updates to customer as per established process in SR life cycle management.
o Create Knowledgebase documentation
o Assist peers and other 3Com-H3C organizations as required for product improvement or customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience:
o This position requires strong communication and presentation skills, a broad well-developed technical aptitude, the ability to work successfully as part of a team, and a strong technology background.
o The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with Development/Sustaining, other 3Com-H3C Support Teams, 3Com-H3C Sales Team, Partners and Customers at all levels.

Inside Service Sales - French &amp; Italian Speaking
Location: Hemel, Great Britain
Overall Purpose of Job:
· Execute against, a service sales business growth plan for either 3Com's French, Italian or Central Europe(</x{(}>Germany, Switzerland &amp; Austria) regions, in line with 3Com Global Services and local Sales objectives and revenue plans.
· Promote, generate leads and sell 3Com services(</x{(}>e.g. new and renewal maintenance services, professional services, training courses)
· Achieve a high renewal rate on existing contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Achieving regional pre-defined sales targets, work to strict month and quarter end deadlines
· Develop and grow the local service business and revenue number. Quarter on quarter revenue growth expected.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with 3Com partners and customers, at all levels.
· Provide an interface for the local Sales organisation into Global Services, ensure the local Sales team have the knowledge and tools to sell service, promote and encourage services selling within the local Sales organisation.
· Conducting business-to-business inbound and outbound calls and emails to provide details and pricing on 3Com's services. Face-to-face customer visits may also be required. 
· Man a sales telephone hot line.
· Keeping up-to date with 3Com's service offerings, policies and promotions
· Addressing and resolving customers queries as a first point of escalation
· Understand the marketplace of the regions being supported
· Build strong relationships with the team(</x{(}>including virtual team members - Global Service departments, in-country Sales teams) and provide weekly updates in team meetings / revenue calls.
· Maintain up to date records on customers, opportunities, revenue forecasts and pipelines.

Senior Internal Audit Manager 
Location: Marlborough, MA
Overall Purpose of Job:
Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, the Senior Manager will be directly in charge of conducting "value-add" operational and financial reviews and the SOX 404 Compliance Program at 3Com. The ideal candidate should possess a strong track record in assisting management, from within an internal audit function, enhance business processes and leading process improvements and reengineering projects. The person will be expected to work collaboratively with business process owners and develop close relationships with executive management.

The Senior Manager will assist the Director in the planning and execution of audits in all phases of 3Com's operations, corporate and global functions in accordance with acceptable audit standards. This individual will also be responsible for providing management with analysis, appraisals and recommendations and directing activities of others assigned to audits. In addition to performing other duties as assigned, the Senior Manager will manage the Internal Audit function in the absence of the Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the planning and execution of Internal Audits in operations, corporate and global functions in accordance with acceptable audit standards. Responsibilities will include risk assessment, scoping and planning, developing audit programs, data gathering and analysis, executing audit programs, work paper reviews, identification of factors causing deficient conditions, providing constructive, economical and practical recommendations for observations, reporting, and interacting and communicating with various level of management personnel. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with and leveraging Internal Audit resources in other regions. - 40%
2. Management of SOX 404 Compliance Program - This person will be responsible for overall program management, performing annual risk assessment, aligning controls and testing with risks, conducting and overseeing testing, evaluating control gaps, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions, tracking all significant deficiencies and conducting follow-up testing on remediation, providing management reports, running SOX Steering Committee and working closely with 3Com's Independent Accountants. Scope includes ITGC. Provides guidance and support to H3C business and evaluate H3C deficiencies at 3Com consolidated level. - 40%
3. Performs other special projects and duties as assigned - 10%
4. Manages Internal Audit Function in the absence of the Director - 10%
Skills and Experience:
Strong Knowledge of leading internal audit practices
Strong knowledge and experience with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Successful track record in conducting "value-add" operational and financial reviews
Experience in leading process improvements and reengineering projects
Solid knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and generally accepted accounting principles
Strong interpersonal, communication(</x{(}>oral and written) and leadership skills

· Familiarity with and entrée to top-tier technology and business media.
· Experience with social media and an understanding of how to integrate these next-generation platforms into PR programs.

Overall Purpose of Job:
Technical Support Team Leader
Location: Hemel, UK
Coordinate a team of Support Engineers providing multilingual support for 3Com customers in Small, Medium and Large Business environments throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa, to ensure that support cases are being effectively managed to achieve required quality targets.

Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Global Tax is a highly visible and critical role reporting directly to the head of tax.  The person will take a lead role with the tax provision process and managing the review by our external auditors. The person will provide documentary support for tax positions and be closely involved with the training and development of staff. The person will serve as a source of tax expertise for the company and will possess a demonstrated ability to mitigate worldwide taxes through effective tax research, planning and process implementation. 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, implement and monitor processes to prepare and review the consolidated income tax provision and quarterly tax forecasts(</x{(}>FAS 109, APB 28, FIN 18, FIN 48, FAS 141R), and the related SEC financial statement disclosures.
· Analyze and document all uncertain tax positions pursuant to FIN 48.
· Work in close partnership with other areas of Finance to ensure accurate reporting and accounting for income taxes.
· Serve as a technical resource for the design, develop and implementation of transfer pricing structures, strategies and documentation.
· Support the enterprise wide migration of selected foreign tax compliance services to a Big-Four public account firm.

· Participate with the rationalization of the worldwide legal entity and capital structures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Overall Purpose of Job:

Field Marketing Manager

Regional Sales Manager - Singapore
Location: Home Office, Singapore
Overall Purpose of Job:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving the development of new business with Enterprise customers, Service Providers and channels in Singapore. The Sales Manager will be the primary champion between the customer and TippingPoint, insuring quality communication and responses to technical- and business-related needs and concerns. This includes collaborating with customers to define critical business issues, defining requirements for TippingPoint-driven solutions, and monitoring contract processes to assure completion and acceptance within a timely period. Position will be based in Singapore. 
 
Skills and Experience:
Preferred Qualifications -
·                      Demonstrated success with large global and regional organizations.
·                      In-depth understanding of the Security and broadband industry.
Minimum Qualifications -
·                      Must have previously achieved $2M+ in annual sales,
·                      5 years proven sales experience selling security products to enterprise customers
·                      Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with large, complex customers
·                      Demonstrated success managing customer expectations in highly complex, political environments and mitigating pre- and post-sale risks
·                      Demonstrated ability to manage internal resources not directly under the individual's control to successfully deliver complex technology solutions
·                      Demonstrated ability to gather, shape and translate basic customer requirements to support the effective delivery of TippingPoint solutions
·                      Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong written and verbal skills
·                      Must be fluent in English
·                      Ability to craft and target messaging from the C-Level down throughout the organization
·                      Ability to champion customer's interests and projects within TippingPoint
·                      Ability to multi-task across multiple customers

Inside Service Sales - German Speaking
Location: Hemel, Great Britain
Overall Purpose of Job:
· Execute against, a service sales business growth plan for either 3Com's French, Italian or Central Europe(</x{(}>Germany, Switzerland &amp; Austria) regions, in line with 3Com Global Services and local Sales objectives and revenue plans.
· Promote, generate leads and sell 3Com services(</x{(}>e.g. new and renewal maintenance services, professional services, training courses)
· Achieve a high renewal rate on existing contracts.
· Up-sell and Cross-sell on service opportunities
· Update 3Com's systems. (</x{(}>Some sales administrative work will be required.)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Achieving regional pre-defined sales targets, work to strict month and quarter end deadlines
· Develop and grow the local service business and revenue number. Quarter on quarter revenue growth expected.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with 3Com partners and customers, at all levels.
· Provide an interface for the local Sales organisation into Global Services, ensure the local Sales team have the knowledge and tools to sell service, promote and encourage services selling within the local Sales organisation.
· Conducting business-to-business inbound and outbound calls and emails to provide details and pricing on 3Com's services. Face-to-face customer visits may also be required. 
· Man a sales telephone hot line.
· Keeping up-to date with 3Com's service offerings, policies and promotions
· Addressing and resolving customers queries as a first point of escalation
· Understand the marketplace of the regions being supported
· Build strong relationships with the team(</x{(}>including virtual team members - Global Service departments, in-country Sales teams) and provide weekly updates in team meetings / revenue calls.
· Maintain up to date records on customers, opportunities, revenue forecasts and pipelines.

CustomerAdvocacy Representative
Location: Hemel, Great Britain
Overall Purpose of Job:
To be an active member of the EMEA Customer Advocacy Team and to provide excellent customer service to internal and external EMEA 3Com customers for post-sales, technical or logistics support escalations in English / French and Spanish at a native level.
Duties and Responsibilities: 
o Acts as a point of escalation for service issues not resolved through standard processes
o Serves both internal and external customers
o Provides first point of contact for 3Com Contract Customers
o Provides non-technical Product Support to support 3Com Contract Customers
· Roles and Responsibilities:
o Validation of Contract entitlement
o Initiate SR or RMA as appropriate
o Assist contract customers with eSupport queries(</x{(}>licenses &amp;activations keys)
o Promotes 3Com and its GSO to all customers through the service provided 
o Co-ordinates hardware replacements, repair and technical requests
o Dealing with requests by fax, telephone, e-mail and database in the supported languages

o To assist with resolution of licensing issues and Voice Key code issue/replacement/entitlement
o To be first point of contact for nominated VIP customers
o Manage Contract Exception Approvals; Contract Dispatch escalations
o Active participation in GSO initiatives/projects e.g. SOCB, CCB, NFF, Black list customers
o Interface with a variety of internal organizations including but not limited to: Call Centre, Executive Management, Global Logistics, Sales, Inside Sales, New Product Introduction, and International Customer Advocacy Teams.
